After the Matjesdisco summer tour we are coming back to the OT301 of course because that’s our home base but we will also go to some other cities to spread to fun of the Matjesdisco. On the 16th of October we’ll be at the Paard in The Hague.
And like the told me this is mullet city number 1 in Holland so we are looking forward to throw this party.

On the 7th, 8th and 9th of August it’s time for the Solar Festival in Roermond. 3 Days of wicked fun with loads of bands and dj’s and a great camping on a beautiful spot. The Matjesdisco will be there to do a 3 hour set with Klerezooi, Tom Schivez and Perestroika soundsystem on Saturday from 20.00 till 23.00 hrs in the Spiegeltent.

The Matjesdisco yesterday in the OT301 was a blast we had a FULL HOUSE at 01.00 oclock so we had to close the doors. Sorry to all you people that couldnt come in anymore.
The great thing was that lots of people came dressed up yesterday, some with small items and others in full gear, wicked!!! It makes the party go moe insane.
Thanks to all the people that helped out and of course to our resident DJ’s: Klerezooi and Tom Schivez and our guest DJ’s: Knoflooksaus and Ome Let from the Gourmet unit. Pictures will be online soon

Last night we received the sad news that Michael Jackson had passed away. The king of pop died at the age of 50 in LA.
No more great tracks or performances from the king so we have to do it with all the great things he already done and loads of those tracks are classic material for our Matjesdisco parties. So I guess there will be quite some Michael tracks coming your way at the Matjesdisco tonight on the beach in Wijk aan zee. We have found the first FAKE matjesdisco!!! and no, it’s not in China, it’s here, in the Netherlands, can you believe it? we can’t!!
Today by accident we found out that somebody here in our own country is using our name and concept ‘The one and only Matjesdisco’.
A group of people are organizing a party in Cafe de Toren in Heeswijk-Dinter (close to Den Bosch) and calling it de Matjes disco. We can’t believe it and we would like to inform all our great Matjesdisco visitors that this is not the real thing!!
Of course we hope that this is just an incident and not a serious attempt to mess with ‘The one and only Matjesdisco’ because we wouldnt be happy with that, now would we?
And maybe, maybe, if we find out they do seriously mean it we will have to................. and hire the A-team (if we can find them).

We have found the second fake Matjesdisco and again it’s not in China but just around the corner in our little country!
What is wrond with all these people copying our name we wonder. I mean, for thousands of years nobody ever organized a Matjesdisco and now all of a sudden it is happeing everywhere. A bit strange I would say and pretty anoying.
This time we found a fake Matjesdisco in De Schuit in Katwijk and we are not very amused by the fact that they think that they can get away with this, we thought we were pretty clear when we say ‘the one and only’ Matjesdisco, but I guess not.
It’s kind of sad that people can not think of their own concept and just take something that is not theirs to take.
But seriously, what are we gonna do about this, I just found out that the A-team is pretty busy and cant come over to help us, Rocky is busy filming part 16 of his movie and the Dukes are on holiday.....
Has anybody got the phone number of Bud Spencer?

Matjesdisco nominated for ‘foute Kabouter’
Holée, the Matjesdisco has been nominated for a golden ‘Kabouter’, (the are the Oscars of the dutch dance/club scene).
We have been nominated in the category ‘foute kabouter’, which (if you dont speak dutch) means that we are nominated for coolest party crew on the planet!!! Not bad!
Now everybody can go online to vote and support us but we would not be cool if we would ask you to go and vote because if you are really cool you dont even want to have an award because, and now I quote Beavis ‘awards suck, hehe’!!!
Anyway, if you are curious about all this award madness now then you can go and check it out but please dont vote for us!! Ooh and also dont vote for our venue the OT301 in the category ‘underground kabouter’!!

Matjesdisco at summer festivals
We are happy to announce that the Matjesdisco is already confirmed for two festival this summer. We will host a tent at the Wish outdoor festival in Beek en Donk on saturday 3 and sunday 4 Jul ear will be even more fun. Line ups for both Matjesdisco’s at these festivals will be announced soon.

MEGA Matjesdisco at Paradiso
Thanks to everybody who attended the MEGA matjesdisco in Paradiso last Saturday, it was the most crazy insane party of the year!!!!!
Paradiso was completely sold out 5 days before the party and we are sorry that there wasnt enough tickets for everybody but we were really happy that 1400 people bought the ticket in pre-sale and made the night such a success. Does this mean that we should go to the Amsterdam Arena in summer?? hahaha!!!
The pictures and video of the party will be online very soon. You can already see a load on Facebook but they will soon be on the site. For all you Matjes fans who cant get enough, we will be in Maastricht in two weeks, on the 11th of December in Ipanema!!!

Another FAKE Matjesdisco spotted
We just spotted the third fake matjesdisco. The party was at least half a year ago so there is no point going there to destroy the place or to call the A-team but we must say that we are surprised and annoyed that again there is some people who are not able to think of their own party but steal somebody elses concept instead. So we hope these people in Cafe ’t Tunneke in Heesch had fun because next time we see you doing a Matjesdisco we will send Hulk Hogan to punch you in the face!!!

Nieuwe Revue magazine!!!!
Yes, yes, yes, don’t believe the hype it’s a...... euhhh.
But anyway, the Nieuwe Revue just placed a 5 pages article about the Matjesdisco in it’s June issue.
If you ever had questions about why, how, who or whatever, go check it out. It tells about our connections with the A-team, haveing lunch with Madonna, eating apfelflapven with Falco, cutting the hair of Chuck Norris (men that was a big job) and more things you always wanted to know.
They are also taking about some ‘New Kids’ but we have always thought that NKOTB were just a bunch of weird American kids but guess what they have moved to Maaswandje a while ago, most be to be closer to the one and only....
